A boy used to work as a Seth. Every day the boy used to cook food with his own hands and after eating, he went to sleep. Similarly, his days were going well.
As usual, one day he cooked food and went to wash his hands.
That day he had made four loaves of bread for himself. When he came back after washing his hands, he saw that there were only three rotis left.
This went on for many days. Then one day he thought that who takes my one roti daily.
That day he secretly saw that a mouse comes there and goes away with a roti.One day the boy caught that mouse after getting a chance and said to the mouse why do you take one of my roti every day. So the mouse said to the boy, let me go, let me eat my luck.
After hearing this, the boy said, you also know how hard I have to work for these rotis. Then I go somewhere and make arrangements for this food.The mouse said to the boy that the solution to all your problems and problems can be found only with Lord Gautam Buddha.
After hearing this, the boy took leave from his Seth and set out to meet Lord Gautam Buddha.After walking for the whole day, when he sought refuge in a mansion at night, a woman lived there. He gave shelter to that boy at his place.
When he stood up in the morning and started leaving, the woman asked him where you are going, then the boy told that he is going to Lord Gautam Buddha to know the solution of his problems.Hearing this, the woman said, can you ask me a question too? So the boy said, tell me exactly what is your question?
The woman said that I have a daughter and she is unable to speak since birth, so ask her when will my daughter speak.
Hearing this, he went ahead. After walking a long distance, the sea came on the way, then the boy said to a tortoise, can you get me across the sea? So the tortoise said, I will do it absolutely. Come sit on my back.The boy sat on his back and crossed the sea. Then the tortoise asked the boy where are you going, then the boy gave the same answer that to know the solution of his problems to Lord Gautam Buddha.
The tortoise said can you ask me a question too? So the boy said yes, tell me what is your question, then the tortoise said to ask him when will I become a dragon. Hearing this, the boy left for the onward journey.
After traveling for many days, the boy reached a mountain, there a monk helped the boy and asked that boy where are you going. So the boy gave the same answer that everyone was giving.
Hearing this, the monk said, will you ask me a question to Lord Gautam Buddha, then the boy nodded his head yes.
So the sage told that I have been doing penance for many years, so ask Lord Gautam Buddha when will I get salvation.
Hearing this, the boy went ahead and finally the boy reached Lord Gautam Buddha And upon reaching he bowed down to Lord Gautam Buddha and said that I want to know the answers to some questions in God from you. Lord Buddha said son, you have come from far away, so ask what you want to ask, but I will answer your three questions only.
The boy was confused which three questions to ask, so the boy thought that my life is going on, why should I ask questions of those people who are more sad and upset than me.
The boy asked the first question that when will the girl living in the mansion start speaking
The second question is when will that tortoise become a dragon.
Thirdly, when will that sage get salvation.
In this way the boy asked all three questions.
After this, Lord Gautam Buddha said that as soon as that girl is married, that girl will start speaking and if the tortoise leaves its shell, then it will become a dragon.When that sage will get liberation, then he will release his stick. The boy went back after listening to everyone's answers.
First of all he told the monk that if you give up your stick then you will get salvation.
The monk gave that stick to the boy and said it is a magic stick. It will help you a lot.
After this the boy went to that turtle and said if you come out of your shell then you will become a dragon.
When the tortoise released the shell, it became a dragon. The boy found many diamond pearls in the shell of the tortoise, with which he went ahead.After that the boy went to that mansion and told that woman that if you marry your girl then she will start speaking.
When that woman married her girl to that boy, then that girl started speaking and that woman gave all her land property to that boy and her daughter.

Friends, we get a lesson from this story that we should never be disappointed by any kind of situations. And don't think about yourself even in adverse circumstances. If we help someone, then only people will help us.
